چکیده
The need for clean water is becoming urgent all over the world. risk of microbial contamination drinking and its growing ability under poor nutritional conditions occur frequently existing management systems do not efficiently eliminate these micropollutants. major goal this research to analyze test quality at random locations in Jeddah City investigate integration polyurethane foam coated nano-silica silver nanoparticles (NSAgNPs) into purification system. study was conducted city intervals during August December 2020. Twenty-five samples (n = 25) (tank water) were collected from different Jeddah. found contaminated with E. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae. most prevalent yeast species Candida albicans. multi-drug resistance isolates positively identified by PCR amplification 16S rDNA gene fragments. antimicrobial activity (NSAgNP) analyzed their optimal concentrations that remove potentially harmful microbes determined. cytotoxicity NSAgNPs Sulforhodamine B colorimetric (SRB) assay against breast adenocarcinoma cell line (MCF-7) showed no cytotoxic effect ≤100 µg/mL. 50% growth inhibition concentration (IC 50) after 72 h 35.8 excellent performance can be attributed capping surface functional groups smaller particle size 8.931 nm, as verified TEM. In conclusion, purified obtained using 100 mg/L free contaminants completely safe drink. We recommend biosynthesized system achieve desired final quality.

متن کاملCharacterization of soluble microbial products as precursors of disinfection byproducts in drinking water supply.
Water pollution by wastewater discharge can cause the problem of disinfection byproducts (DBPs) in drinking water supply. In this study, DBP formation characteristics of soluble microbial products (SMPs) as the main products of wastewater organic biodegradation were investigated. The results show that SMPs can act as DBP precursors in simulated wastewater biodegradation process. Under the exper...
